A drain will block up generally for one of two reasons:
1. A build up of debris or silt in the pipe
2. A structural defect
Our engineer will be happy to explain the cause of the blockage and will advise you in regards to any further work required.
Providing the drains are accessible and you are happy for us to be on your property, it is not necessary for you to wait in for us.
Methods for drain clearance
Blockages in household drains can often be cleared using steel drainage rods. For more stubborn blockages and larger drains, high pressure water jetting is often the best approach.
Hi-Tec Drains benefit from having a wide selection of jetter's, ranging from smaller, less powerful ones to our lorry jetter which at 6,000 PSI is more than capable of cleaning culverts and large drains awaiting adoption.
All of our engineers are equipped with both drainage rods and a jetter.
